Chair of the Board of Trustees

Daycare Trust is the national childcare charity. Established in 1986 it leads the national childcare campaign through high quality research, the development of credible policy recommendations through publications and the media, and by working with others.
The successful candidate must be committed to the mission and values of Daycare Trust and have experience of leading a non-profit organisation. We are seeking candidates with political savvy, strategic agility and an ability to build and manage alliances.

In addition, specific skills, knowledge or experience in any of the following areas would be an asset: academic (non childcare), local government, corporate governance, fundraising, diversity and customer focus.

We welcome candidates from ethnic minorities and with disabilities.

You must be available to attend about four meetings a year as well as a half day strategy session, our Annual Conference and one or two events.
